The Little Girl

Little girl,
Why so sad?
Who hurt you
So bad?

Who could destroy
Your happiness,
And cause
Such sadness?

Your eyes say
What your mouth
Won’t tell.

You fell.

Fell into the claws
And the jaws
Of a monster.

No shame,
No blame
In you.

Only the pain
Of a torn
Innocence….

Nowhere

Here I am,
In this place.
No one can see me
And I can’t see them.

I’m nowhere to be seen,
Nowhere to be found…

I can’t remember anything but
The fact that I was very unhappy up there.
This is a very strange place.
It’s not Heaven, it’s not Hell…

Nowhere to be seen…

Nowhere to be found…

Nowhere on this Earth…

Someplace inside it…

It doesn’t matter…

I’m dead.

Ghost of Christmas Last

Sitting, alone,
At a fireplace.
No thoughts
Run my mind.

The warmth
From the flames
Thaws the ice
From my bones.

A sense of coziness
Reaches my soul.
I look up, gazing
Into nothingness.

Then…
A cold breeze
Enters my guts,
Freezing me.

A terrible feeling
Of anxiety,
Shakes my knees
And my whole body.

Thoughts shooting
Up and down,
Making it impossible
For me to think.

And even though
The fire is still on,
No warmth
Can be felt.

Only the sense
Of distress,
Of unsteadiness
That you cause.

You.

The one who
Hurt me.
Too many times.

And now you
Are back.

To haunt me.

To cause
Me pain
Once more.

My Ghost of
Christmas Last.

Bloody Love

What I feel for you
Can never be tamed.
It’s turning into
A picture that can’t be framed.

I feel such happiness
When you’re around,
That no sadness
Can put me down.

I’m walking,
No! I’m flying.
And so I hasten
To reach heaven.

When I reach that place
Who is it that I face?

Alas! Then you come
And rip my heart out.

Drowning

An ocean I am swimming,
To fight the tide I’m trying.
I am going nowhere.
My lungs scream for air.

And as the forces strengthen
Against my own will,
My soul becomes frightened,
Beyond any thrill.

After fighting the fight,
I lose all my might,
I lose all faith
That I’ll escape my fate.

Will I death deceive?
Is this something
I should believe?

With all these doubts
I fear I won’t get out.
Get out alive, get free,
A future I can longer see.

At last my soul can rest,
After I’ve been put to the test,
I succeeded.
I didn’t drown.
I survived.

Alone

From childhood's hour I have not been

As others were; I have not seen

As others saw; I could not bring

My passions from a common spring.

From the same source I have not taken

My sorrow; I could not awaken

My heart to joy at the same tone;

And all I loved, I loved alone.

Then- in my childhood, in the dawn

Of a most stormy life- was drawn

From every depth of good and ill

The mystery which binds me still:

From the torrent, or the fountain,

From the red cliff of the mountain,

From the sun that round me rolled

In its autumn tint of gold,

From the lightning in the sky

As it passed me flying by,

From the thunder and the storm,

And the cloud that took the form

(When the rest of Heaven was blue)

Of a demon in my view.

Ó sino da minha aldeia

Ó sino da minha aldeia
dolente na tarde calma,
cada tua badalada
soa dentro da minha alma...

E é tão lento o teu soar,
tão como triste da vida,
que já a primeira pancada
tem o som de repetida.

Por mais que me tanjas perto,
quando passo, sempre errante,
és para mim como um sonho,
soas-me na alma distante.

A cada pancada tua,
vibrante no céu aberto,
sinto o passado mais longe,
sinto a saudade mais perto...

Helplessness

A feeling of terror
Consuming me.
That’s no wonder
For I am not free.

The cause?
A demon.

A demon haunting
My past, my present.
He is causing
Within me a tempest.

Not letting go of this fear,
That causes me such pain,
I am shedding a tear,
Trapped in chains.

Chains from which I
Struggle, fighting the voice
That wonders why
I didn’t make the choice.

Searching

Tens o olhar fixo.
Fixo em mim.
Fixo dentro de mim.

Os nossos olhares encontram-se
E o teu olhar
Penetra a minha alma.

Remexendo, vasculhando
À procura de algo.
“O que é?”

“O que procuras?”,
Ansiosamente pergunto.
“O que tentas tão
Desesperadamente encontrar?”

“A ti.”

If

If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,

Or being hated, don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master,

If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster

And treat those two impostors just the same;

If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken

Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,

Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,

And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings

And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,

And lose, and start again at your beginnings

And never breath a word about your loss;

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew

To serve your turn long after they are gone,

And so hold on when there is nothing in you

Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,

Or walk with kings - nor lose the common touch,

If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,

If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can fill the unforgiving minute

With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,

Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,

And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

Rudyard Kipling

Goodbye to You

The page is turned.
The chapter, closed.
No more wondering
How it could be.

No more thinking,
Crying, seconds
Wasted over you.

From this moment,
You'll be nothing
More than a
Shadow, a dream
That never came true.

There's only one
Word for you:
Goodbye.

That's it.
I'm done.

What would you do
If suddenly I
Was no more?

Would you notice
I was missing
Or my absence
Would be meaningless?

‘Cause I’m tired
Of living this life!
And I need one
Reason to keep living.

Can you give me
Such reason?
Can you say
You feel like I do?

And that you
Don’t want me to leave?

I carry your heart with me

I carry your heart with me (I carry it in
my heart)I am never without it (anywhere
I go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
I fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)I want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

I carry your heart (I carry it in my heart)

Screw It

Visitando o espaço de lazer do poeta-príncipe,
Sem nada para fazer,
Agarro um lápis
E começo a escrever.

As palavras correm como o rio
Corre para o mar,
Sem parar.

O tempo nunca pára
E eu não tenho tempo.

E assim, com o tempo a fugir,
Tenho pressa em acabar
O que comecei.

Mas a pressa
É a inimiga da perfeição.
Por isso, que se lixe o tempo,
Porque isto vem do meu coração.
